I do like this, but I can't say I'm fond of the way things are playing out. things are happening too quickly. like mc was broken, and now he's got a cold attitude to others, and the fam can notice it. well, even before this, he had a cold attitude. like killing a guys kids who had nothing to do with their father's sins.. so why try and make him seem colder if he's already like this. If anything he wasn't 'broken' but his way of thinking was shifted to a more extreme version of what it was. plus its kinda skipping over the abilities a little. like reading books of spells but not knowing what they do till later is kinda odd.but with all that said, I do like this story, fast paced is refreshing, I guess.
