I was expecting an outcome similar to Harry-Lily to take place in Daphe's case too, where one would be in charge physically and the other would be able to communicate mentally, but the merging kinda makes sense since the situations are completely different... Thanks for the chapter!!!

so she had a sollution for her younger self with a merger but instead of showing what she is here to prevent she straight up attacked her before making the offer? killing umbridge is always for the good. i never got how harry let either her or snape walk all over him when he could just dump them in the chamber of secrets, or feed them to the acrumantula. no body no crime. killing snape is literaly the first thing i'd do in hogwarts
