the MC comes off as an absolute moron I could understand if he was angry about the whole child killing thing but he doesn't know about that what essentially she's doing is giving him the country I don't see how that's really manipulating him considering their literally had like two conversations so for all he knows she could tell him this after their married or just before their married if he actually asked her why she wants to marry him I mean obviously she wasn't really hiding it from him like it was really easy for him to listen on that conversation so while she wasn't trying very hard to hate it from him so he just comes off as a whiny prick
