The cat did not join him willingly, but because he would have killed it if it had not become his subordinate, so to say that it was by his will is nothing more than a lie. And also to say that his servants, part of his power, are not true and he himself has no power, because all his powers are given by the system, even if he has killed all the monsters so far, it is not his power. And the last thing I don't understand is that our protagonist is an idiot for giving the cat a pill. If he understands his chances of surviving in this world as long as possible so poorly, why would he climb a tower if he doesn't care about his life, and we are never shown why he cares about the cat?
