No matter what, even if it means to kill all his loved ones, to not being able to feel love for the rest of this novel? I am interested on this, as I feel a little poisoned about his 'protective' part. In my honest opinion, it doesn't make sense, after all he's been through, it's not even logic for him to feel like that. That's why I ask about it.
This will be explored as the volume progresses, don't worry, I'm not just ignoring all that he's been through :). Also, remember that the current Yaan (main body) is still not his 'complete self', since he basically used portions of his dao heart to create the other Dao Clones. He is vicariously experiencing those parts of his dao heart through the Dao Clones, but he can't be considered the 'complete Yaan' at this point.
