What if before being human he was an Angel later he became a fallen died, and became human upon reincarnation losing his memoriesonly for then becoming a demon now or devil,since it still Seem unceratain, and the Phoenix was his companion during his time as an Angel and even when he became a fallen so those people for making an example of him who became a fallen killed him and made his companion become like this.
