Resurgent
thats it i drop this novel i dont mind mc slaughtering everyone who betrayed him, but i don't like needless killing of innocents
I mean it's not like they are doing anything more than what he was doing if anything they are doing way less they were fighting mindless skeletons that do nothing but kill... FML nevermind it's pointless to explain.
Resurgent:Not needless. He killed to complete the quest since like it or not it's the only way to level up now that he was a demon. If he doesn't kill he would be the one getting killed. I already mentioned in my review that this would be a dark novel where morals and righteousness can't be made sense of. It's not like he went ahead and slaughtered those that weren't trying to kill him. If he did that is known as needless killing đ
honestly wouldn't have commented but I think it's an interesting concept to be honest. I don't know if it's true or not, but I have a sneaking suspicion that the "demon" that the MC is in is himself. Under special circumstances, such as him already existing, his mind has been crippled, but not to the extent of not seeing/remembering anything, but also being the thing that allows him to link with the ring on his finger because of all the stuff he went through for 14 years. It could explain how the demon king said what he said cause he knows, since the demon he is now and the hunter he was back then has the exact same aura signature (not mentioned so far but I have a feeling that's what the demon queen was searching to look for was that specific aura signature to see whether it changed or was the same, and I think it hasn't changed a bit since he gained clarity.), except that the signature being more weaker in the demon body than his hunter body.
