your mc was wrong about Remedious, she is just Dumb and Ignorant, she is strong yes, she is virtuous based on their society yes, but she just lacks intelligence, we see it on the Novel, she does not know much strategy, she lets her emotions take over when it matters and even when it does not matter, she only has the power of a Paladin and political connections, a person with her level of intelligence and personality should never be put in a position of power. She is an idiot, plain and simple.
