So, a little biased here, and you may very well have it planned out already, but for one of the eventual "rewards" for purifying Dahlia's bloodline, you could maybe give her (I'm not sold on this name but it's 2 A.M. and I can't think of anything better right now) Umbral Sight. By this, I mean that you tap into the fact that her race is heavily darkness aligned, and give her basically Dark Vision from D&D. She not only gets her eyes fully fixed, but she can also see perfectly in dim light as though it was bright light, and can see perfect clarity black and white in pure non-magical darkness. For magical darkness, you could have it (I forget if this properly applies in this book, I'm reading a lot of different ones at once and it's been a hot sec) affinity based, to where even if the magical darkness is more "mana intensive" per say, as long as Dahlia has a greater understanding, or deeper connection with the darkness aspect than the person/event creating the darkness, she can still see through it. Also, because Dahlia is becoming (we assume) a Destruction Primordial, it would be interesting to give her a "weak point" vision. be that a physical weak point if that would make sense in the magic system of this world, or the "weak point" of a spell, Dahlia would be able to see that vulnerability and capitalize on it. The other option from a weak point vision is to give her enhanced Kinetic Vision. What I mean by this is (don't quote me on this for the true definition) Dahlia would "see" in higher frames per second than a normal person. Some IRL examples are that humans see in 60 fps, while chickens and a lot of birds see in 120 fps. For Dahlia, you could scale it as high as you want (maybe a passive level and then higher if she pumps mana into it) or just have it at a constant rate. This would allow her to technically see the world slower than we see it and give her more time to react. A semi-reasonable fps (Imo) would be max of 600 fps (massively mana intensive, can only be done in short bursts) letting her see 10x faster than normal, or the world moves 10x "slower" for her, with a baseline of 120 to 180 fps so that she passively sees 2-3x faster than normal. Sorry that this is so long, didn't expect it to get this long, and also sorry if I seem redundant sometimes, but I just really wanted to make myself clear, and I am really invested into this story. I'd love to help you think of powerups for the crew if you would let me, or be a proofreader or even just someone to bounce Ideas off of. I'll try to think of some buffs for Valentina later if you want. Anyways, I'm so happy you updated this, and I actually like (Can't believe I can't remember her name) Soul-Eating Wisteria plant lady a lot. Keep up the good work!

Hmmm, without spoiling things, I do have plans for Dahlia's eyes as her bloodline purifies, though the specifics haven't been settled on yet. I'm still working things out. I will say though, the increased framerate idea is cool, but not likely to be used. While a purified bloodline will increase generale abilities both in terms of sensory perception and reaction speed, the time dilation aspect wouldn't suit Dahlia's abilities and would be more suited to someone with temporal or mental casting abilities. Something like a weakness sight also isn't something I plan to do at this time, but it is more in line with Dahlia's bloodline and where I might go with things. I won't say more though as I'm still in the planning stage and would also hope that the way Dahlia changes is an exciting surprise to look forward to going forward~Thankyou for your support and interest though! While right now I'm not looking for proofreaders and the like, having cool ideas and feedback like this is still a great way to both get feedback and broaden my own mindset!

First, it’s awesome Val and Josie are coming together in comradarie. I just wished it was under better circumstance instead of a hungry plant monster. Secondly, I’m sure Dahila is concerned and sad about the distance btw her and Val. P.S. Waiting for “ripper Val” to show up and show the plant monster she won’t go without a fight.
