The family dynamic in this fic is wholesome Dominic Toretto would approve. I like the interactions between Baelon and Aegon, Baelon knows Aegon is troubled by expectations and his own self-loathing so it's heartwarming when I see Baelon just speaks frankly and without judgment to his younger siblings. One of the main reasons why I love HOTD and ASOIAF is the politiking and character interactions.
This is gonna turn into a three way dance isnât it. Corlys will push Rhaenyras claim, Alicent will push Aegons claim and Baelon is the legal heir with a lot of achievements under his belt. It would be nice to see how MC deals with Greens having a strangle hold over small council, he has a position of a lot of power. Plus he hold dragonstone and blackfyre so aegon canât be crowned in conquerors image. I can see Stark and Dwayne being in MC camp firmly. Arryns a maybe. Tullys might fish for a royal marriage and probably go camp Rhaenyra. I can see MC marrying Cassandra Baratheon and getting Borros on his side. Lannisters could go Green as Hightowers might try to flex their mercantile muscle and get Lannisters into the fold.
