HEY! I might have had many reasons but they were VALID reasons AND I wanted to cry because the story was right there- the words were waiting to be read- and I couldn't read them. ;.; Though, you did call me your beloved grammar checker, soooo I guess it's okay... Hmpf. Anyway! This got me so hyyyyped. The Children of the Forest sound creepy af to me, not going to lie. :| Just regular children by themselves can be pretty unsettling, lol. I loved the snowy lands! Snowy lands are the bestest lands in my opinion. So beautiful, magical, peaceful... Once again, I could imagine riding the amazing unicorns?! in the snow, hear their feet hit the mush, smell the dirt mixed with snow, etc. I love how you write. <3 Also, seriously, I have no idea if the unicorns are canon or not- but I love them and the foooox! Will Vaela get a Unicorn? >.> I say she should! As for the grove, what happened, WHAT EVEN HAPPENED, I am so confused and curious and that was epic. There is something so wonderful and creepy about the unnerving look of the tree with the gentle sunlight... I just can't wait to find out what actually happened to him! And what did the thingy do to who was watching? How did he know someone was watching? This is legit epic, love. I love this story and I love you! I can't wait for more!
I believe that according to my thoughts the children of the forest hate both Valyrios and Andalos (although since most of them are fused with the first men it is a weaker hatred) mainly because it has nothing to do with the "pact" between the children and the first men (I suspect a wedding between the royal men and this gave rise to the birth of Brandon). So he would have to marry a forest girl to "join" the pact. You could make a girl transform for a time into something resembling human form. His son in my opinion would have silver hair but, with green locks and lilac and green eyes, a combination of something small in stature but strong and long-lived. It would be a very fun change in the Canon and it would give meaning to the King of the Elves since those children would be very "elven" in terms of their abilities, I guess they would not be Dragon Riders but greenseers.
great chapter, it has everything I expected from this book, magic, magical and different animals and exploration and new discoveries, thanks đ ps: the skinchangers have a lot of future beyond the possession of animals such as reading minds or speaking to the mind as Galadriel did ps 2: sometimes what I write can sound bad, it's because of the translator đ
