I see no issue with Prince Andrew’s letter. Sure, that wasn’t the response she wanted, but he sounded sincere and at least replied to her which few would bother. Even wishing her the best. I hope she moves past it. Not everyone stays in our lives. Just like not every partner is destined to be ours as much as we may wish and will it. It’s a tough reality to accept, life. I don't see anything wrong with Andrew, she should wake up to reality and see that there is no chance for them anymore, instead of leaving in the past try to move on, he might not even love the woman but wants Arabella to find new hopes instead of waiting for something impossible, even if they broke up everyone would scorn her saying she was the fault (according to the era). He did good in severing their relationship, if he didn't say it this way based on her love for him she would keep clinging onto lost hopes
