When I was reading so far I saw a lot of comments that she and her brother should just leave the shen family and go their own way. Here is what they should not: 1. She is inhabiting the body of a teenage girl and her brother is 6, it isnât safe for them to be by themselves (if her brother was an adult then it would be feasible) They could easily end up being taken advantage of or being captured by human traffickers if they lived alone or tried to do business 2. The girl she has inhabited is uneducated and doesnât really know anything about the world outside of small village life, basically the memories of the orignal owner can help her know how to do household or farming chores and not much else, her own knowledge or skills can help her do business but she would need trustworthy backers who can help her get things started 3. Because she read the novel she knows the characters of the shen families people and knows that they wonât screw her over, it canât be said for anyone else in this world 4. The shen family is already invovled in business and would know and understand the rules and regulations/ have connections that could help her 5. It would also be much more difficult for her to get ahead as unmarried girl or a divorcĂ©e than as a married woman, as a married woman she has the status of her husbands family behind her, without people behind her no one will take her seriously, she has no natal family other than her child brother and itâ very unlikelys that she can just do something like call the police of someone wants to take advantage of her or harasses her, especially if they donât go too far across the line
