While I agree with Zein, I think he's simplifying a complicated topic and kinda blaming the wrong people. 2 things can be true at the same time, guides in lower levels are definitely having it worse but on the other hand, guides in general are treated as second class citizens. The onus should be on people to not hurt guides. I'm just a bit iffy on how the only organisation in this story that seems to care exclusively about guides, the Temple, is somehow painted as the bad guy for...not being able to control humans in general? Zein telling this guide to fix the situation that makes situations like Xu Ren's happen is a bit ridiculous since he doesn't have the power to do that. Shouldn't it be the people in power he should be directing this to, especially since Zein is now one of those people in power? I don't know, I just find it weird how somehow the story is criticising the groups that are trying to help guides get rights. Yes they're not perfect but they're trying. Shouldn't the focus be on improving them instead of smacking them down and making them villains. I'm also a bit annoyed how guide only organisations are being talked down on. It's weird that the only good organisations in this story are organisations led by espers but with a few high positions for guides.

Wow, this is probably the longest comment this book has, thank you for the thought! Well, let’s just say...Zein had the mindset of a victim who never gets help, exclusive to the region (Eastern Federation) where the specific Temple’s management area really doesn’t help. It’s rather narrow on his part and he will find more things in the future To be clear, he didn’t want the person or the organization to fix the condition, but the Temple, who should have the power to do that. He just wants the organization to stop treating guides inequally by bringing down other guides when they’re supposed to support all guides, because that’s a part that makes the guides in lower regions gets ignored; there’s an invisible caste among the guide Unfortunately, the story has too many subplots already, and I have no chance to incorporate too much of this subject But thank you for the thought, and thank you for reading [img=recommend]

It is a big hard topic. Human trafficking and enslavement happening everyday in all corners of world. Most of these are women and children.
