Dude this story feels...how should I say it....like it lost its identity I think?

I kinda like this but I feel that this is also kind of an excuse to change his personality from a good guy to a person very cruel to anyone but family, also I'm not a huge fan of him being split up with the girls since they where more or less his moral compus in the first place
