Luke just needs a big crew of women to also act as protectors/mother's with them. He doesn't have to head to the grand line this second. Can have Desire eat the barrier devil fruit in this world and recruit her or have Nojiko joined as a sniper. Makino could also join them as a caretaker while learning to fight or something. I would recommend others like Mikita and Reiju but they're in Whiskey Peak and North Blue respectively. Since you've already gone down the rabbit hole with alternate reality just have the other two from the monster trio be girls in this timeline. Tbh, the truck god said he couldn't JOIN the straw hats, never said that group needed to exist in this world. Lucy, femZoro and femSanji can join his crew since he's already taking Ann away from joining the Whitebeard pirates. There's always a loophole that needs to be taken advantage of. You still gotta do the romance between Luke and Lucy/Makino. I am curious if you're sticking only to characters from one piece or will have a crossover character or two?
