I know it's written that the MC can't feel emotions well, but I also said that just because he can't feel them well doesn't mean he doesn't have them. In this scene, the MC was not supposed to help and was instead supposed to watch as the scene unfolded, but I made him help to show that the MC can't feel emotions well but still has them. His body took this action subconsciously because he couldn't bear to watch them die, deep down inside. It's challenging to express the MC's inner thoughts well, but trust me when I say that every action has a reason here.
