Very cool idea. Interested to watch how hid interactions with key people and places alter the timeline. Does his system also allow him to gain longevity as well? Maybe as he grows stronger he is getting closer to joining the Pantheon himself. And fights with the Champions of other pantheons should be a good concept if you go that route. Might even help explain why so little (or no) magic exists today.
