I think that you are mistaken in the way you see Yuna. Yuna’s character development was over before the start of the Naruto story, she has already fought adversity, committed mistakes and defeated her enemies. Yuna is the protagonist of this story the same way Saitama is the protagonist of OPM, they exist in an already esablished world with defined characters (the author here cheated a bit using the worlds from famous manga works), the beauty here is how the OTHER characters react to the chaos sown by the invincible protagonist, how the story is twisted by the presence of a new unavoidable factor. It also helps that Yuna is so chaotic that the only forseable thing is that “it’s Yuna time”
imagine all the others captains and their vice seeing this and began having doubt about their worth and power as they find themselves totally powerless and insignificant in front of such display and Aizen sweating profusely because he is aware that right now if a truce is concluded and they gang up on him even 2 hogyokus won't be enough to keep him alive
