So umm just gonna put it here in case you don't know this but you can get in trouble with the whole Patreon thing because, Fan fiction is automatically copyright infringement. It is a derivative work, which is forbidden by copyright law. Because copyright infringement is a civil matter, the owner of the copyright must go after you - enforcement is not automatic. Authors and publishers usually choose to turn a blind eye to fan fic, as long as the writer does not attempt to profit from it. But they would almost certainly view this as crossing that line. The chances of getting cease-and-desist notices and/or outright being sued would rise to close to 100%, so in other words; Writing Fanfiction is a legal grey area. Were you to be taken to court, accepting money for the task just makes it more of a challenge to prove what you were doing was not a copyright violation. So 3 things you must remember is: Is your fanfiction sufficiently transformative? Is your fanfiction an obvious enough parody? Will you be noticed and acted on in the first place? I'm just trying to help incase you get sued for this. Hope it helps.
