Why did you write how Kataoka so adamant for not having Rei to be the Ace? Is Kataoka an idiot in your story? Choosing super talented player even though a bit rebellious like Rei is lesser evil than waiting Sawamura talent to bloom in his 2nd year, even Furuya weapon by being fast throw doesnt help the team in crucial moments in manga and anime
