Just started reading this series and I am done now. Just can’ stand the system and I feel like it’s not gonna change for the better going forward.

No reason to stop now. Fresh story and ideas. Guess Aurora forgets / has senior moment rather than cultivating her 16 yr old charge dealing with more abilities than a level 12 Mage Half-Elf in D&D.
