That's fair. Tbh you really only need a summary of important events, what the MC looks like, his equipments looks too. Also his status so we know where he stands when you are done with tune skipping to Canon.

gotta find a happy medium, cause just telling the readers everything that happened isn't a story at all. it's like reading a bullet point list of all the things someone intended to write about but never actually got around to writing anything.
