The tension is ALL Zev! Where are Lerrin & Suhle? I can’t wait til they emerge & interact with the Chimerans

I do not condone Zevs actions, reactions or behaviors. And yet the Chimera seem to have given Tarkyn more freedom within the settlement than even Harth was shown after it was revealed she was his mate. I mean Tarkyn needed rest but he had to persuade Elreth to let them use a cave because of Harths anxiety. And despite Mr grumpy🐺, Sasha and her seconds are giving him a chance. The chimera and Anima are all very similar, but if we didn't know Zev and Sasha's story, or Elreth and Aaryn's story, the Chimera seem the more peaceful and friendlier of the two. I mean other than Mr grumpy attacking him, which was just despicable, he was somewhat welcomed. The wolves were wary because of his reaction to Harth getting bruised during her welcome but they acknowledged he was her mate. And even though he's under the banner of peace, he still represents Elreth and her authority to this group of new comers who are just relieved to have their alphas back. But their alphas are weary and angry and were held captive. Tarkyn is allowed, under guard, to walk freely amongst them while they discuss peace. Zev and Sasha were imprisoned and had to rely on Elreths mercy to ensure Zan got fed. Despite explaining that they wanted peace as well, El feared zev purely for his abilities. Tarkyn is being acknowledged and heard. He's not being treated with kindness or respect but then again if his queen has just returned from captivity and angry and abused and then a representative from her captors showed up claiming to want peace, they wouldn't be received well either. And all Zev did to earn his captivity was protect his family. I'm saying his anger is justified not his actions. And if we didn't know the stories leading to the Alphas' trauma then the small band of newly colonized Chimera are the more friendly of people. That all. those are my thoughts. love this story. even Mr grumpy 🐺❤️

That's sad, because they are all scared of Zev at the moment. Elreth triggered something in Zev that isn't good and his people are terrified of him. His mate is their alpha and he is her other half. I am not sure what it will take, but something has to bring Zev back to his senses. I hope he doesn't hurt Lerrin or Suhle. I don't know if Sasha would stand for that.

He has excellent intuition, everyone's skittish cuz the leader is skittish. Hopefully Sasha and here team can do something to mitigate that!

I can’t help but wonder what it’ going to take for Zev to understand that they are going to be ok. El now understands better and somehow Zev has to figure that out. I doubt they can ever be friends, but hopefully they won’t always be enemies either. It’s a very tense time. I‘m putting my hope in Suhle and Lerrin…

Tarkyn. So observant. No doubt Zev being unhinged is trickling down.

This breaks my heart. After all these Chimera have been through and how they lived in fear of the humans, they're all scared of Zev. That's not how he ruled his people. Even Sasha has shown a tiny bit of fear from his actions. Honestly, I thought that would snap him out of this. Sadly, it didn't. I'm putting my faith and hope into Lerrin and Suhle to be instrumental in bringing some knowledge of how to deal with a crazy wolf. He does have some experience in dealing with that. I was just thinking about right before the war with the wolves and how Lerrin had to set some of his wolves down a peg or two. On a lighter note...Ossskaaa! I remember the hares but I wasn't sure if they came along with them. I love Dunken, too. Isn't he the only Chimera that Zev has a mind link with other than the wolves?
