Unpopular opinion. But her fear of what the Chimera are capable of has already happened. I mean Zev proved he's a weapon. And he threatened her life. He looked her in the eye with unfiltered hatred. And still she walked away with a small scratch. Abject terror for everyone involved. But she walked away with her life. Zev demonstrated his absolute control even on the brink of losing it. Yes we all read this from others perspective but this was her fear. If she freed him he'd be a danger. She wanted proof that despite his capabilities he wouldn't be a threat. She wouldn't listen to reason out of fear. She he gave her something real and tangible to fear. His strength while caged. His skill while desperate. Now that her fear has been faced, what need is there to keep him imprisoned. Just a thought. Probably wrong though. Loved this chapter. ❤️
I had a feeling that Rika was pregnant but not El. While I'm so excited that she's pregnant, I still can't get over being mad at her just yet. I get why she's been so fearful now because she's gonna be having a pup or a cub soon. She should relate to Sasha more and try to help them be a part of Anima. The goal should be for all the babies to live in a safe place but they can't unless they coexist in peace. I think things are looking better now. She has to rely on others to help her see the path forward. I'm also glad that she's not mad at Tarkyn.
