That would be super hard. Zan needs food though and Zev needs to be free of the bonds he is in so his body can rest and heal and his mind can calm. I understand Elreth's on this. I am thankful that Gar and Tarkyn stepped up. Even though El is scared, I am sure she will give Sasha the key. I believe all three of the men told El the same thing, other they would have done the same thing to protect their mate and child as Zev did. I believe any loving husband and father would do what ever it would take to protect their family. Being a mother myself, I would gladly give my life for my children.
I love Gar even more now if that's possible. Even though he and his sister have their differences, she trusts his judgment. I think Aaryn told her the same thing that Gar did. I'm sooo glad that Sasha gave Zan to Jayah so she can unchain Zev. Gar, Tarkyn, Aaryn and even Behryn would've done the same thing that Zev did to protect his mate and child. I can't wait to see them all start to work on understanding each other. This is a good start. Once the baby is fed, Sasha & Zev can relax for a minute, I think Zev will be thinking rationally again. He's not a bad male that's hard to deal with. Once he gets his mind right, they'll get to know the real Zev.
Both the Anima and the Chimera have been horribly treated by the humans, and both groups are frightened of returning to those situations. I think El and the Anima will be shocked at how much more abuse was leveled against the Chimera and for years. In terms of suffering at human hands, the Anima got off easy by comparison. Once the leaders have a chance to rest, breathe and heal, I believe the two groups will find they have a great deal in common and will begin to cooperate.
