All I can say is I'm hopeful to see where this is going but I like the more chill and caring Jack more. I'm not sure how to feel about him currently.

I liked the first chapter and I could see how much thought was put in it. And I hoped that the author would be committed to the rewrite.If your commitments and responsibilities keep you from writing it is understandable but not to have a laid back attitude. I hope you will put in the effort and maintain your passion for this rewrite.Most writers loose interest midway, or run out of ideas
