I agree with Ale, she should have kept that to herself. Now Ale knows she came from r*pe and that honestly will stay in her mind for a while. But again, the child, being Ale, was not at fault. And because Melanie knew that Desmond was not a great person, she should have taken Ale at least to her grandparents. 😮💨
Though it's normal to not revisit a painful memory and shun everything in relation to it, it's not normal to leave your daughter to suffer when u know what kind of a person your ex is 😶... It's purely self centred to leave an infant with an abusive ex 😞... Won't she even think of any what ifs? Like her ex's anger on her turning to the infant ? Or what if he becomes abusive 😑?She ignored both her parents and her daughter and went on to start a new life, when both of them needed her😕... The way she behaved, starting a brand new life with a person she likes and children born out of love, but at the same time neglecting her parents and her innocent daughter shows that she's a prideful and self centred person 😒 who wants to be known to be good wife, mother etc portraying a perfect persona regardless of the fact that her neglecting them will hurt 🤕 them ... Melanie is just the kind of person who induces ur hatred, by giving excuses for her faults, never accepting them...
I really hate both Melanie and Lewis. The letter for believing that forcing this truth on Alessandra could somewhat mend the mother-daughter relationship (how dumb should you be for believing something like that). And I hate Melanie for so many things I cannot count. She often said she believed Alessandra was better off with her father, while she knew what kind of person he was, even more after what she told about Alessandra's birth. And if abandoning Alessandra wasn't enough, she even separate her parents from Alessandra, leaving the child completely alone with that despicable man. Now I really hope that after Edgar hears what 'the it will go well' meeting was really about, would destroy the couple so they won't hurt Alessandra ever again.
