Ok author you don’t know how many loopholes you have in the things you tried to explain. 1st Black pearl with everything you have it cannot be faster than sunny the 2nd ship of Luffy. If you tell otherwise you are trying to bluff yourself 2nd devil fruit I mean it’s your story. But even among zoan devil drift it’s lame. I mean did you forget how OP Luffy fruit is. He doesn’t stand a chance against future Luffy with that fruit. 3. Like I told you just don’t give better options and then choos lame one and then try to defend your actions. Instead don’t give better options. Learn to be smart working not hardworking.
Don't bother with them dude, write your fanfic as you see fit. If they want straw hats crew completely intact then they can just watch one piece as it is. Also having Zoro, Nami & Robin will be essential as nami is the best navigator and robin will be needed for polyglyph since the MC doesn't have 'Voice of All Things'.
Question: While reading I've seen that he seems to be super weak to haki, but even Luffy still couldn't injure Kaido's scales with haki while Kaido used none. So realistically I see that haki can injure him but I feel like blunt attacks would still be pretty weak against him, I mean even internal destruction is prob weakened by vibration immunity. In the end I'm just wondering if you are going to treat his hide like a logia and is simply invalidated with haki.
I think it is all good as I won't complain but just be like 'oh man' when its something like choosing zoro. My thoughts on changing plot depend on what goal the MC has, I'm not sure if it was stated for long term but unless he is definitely going to fight the world gov. and the rest and free the world... then you would think not to hinder luffy as he is the Main protagonist of the world. But making changes don't always catapult to flipping the plot upside down, say you chose to recruit bonny and none of the other main plot characters... or law. You would take the place of one of the strongest of the worst generation pirates, have some sort of effect where bonnie would originally show up in canon. If it was to say law joining the crew, you would add yourself into the dressrosa arc as doflamingo is his archnemesis. Or even take care of the situation before luffy arrives, but taking fundamental building blocks like his crew aka zoro/nami/robin would be making his goal 100x harder. He can always fins some more enemies to fight if you take doflamingo away but if you are taking nami then it is very hard to fill that void in his crew as she is one of the best navigators in the world that we are aware of. And say you want to make up for it by giving mc a talented OC navigator or have nami teach nojiko the OC should have just gone into your own crew or Nojiko would 100% not be as good as nami. you could argue taking zoro would be okay but he does save luffy many times as he is one of the strongest in the eastblue, luffy would probably die without him on thriller bark. Since this is all my opinion it doesn't matter to much but even if you say that you are going to save ace it would have less of an effect on the story than taking zoro. But i do like everything else about the story and I'm sure you will make it good, just sharing my viewpoint.
