What everyone else is saying, objectively horrible fight/writing. A 12 year old with chunin level chakra is going to destroy the mountain let alone 2 comparatively normal men, there is literally no one on planetos who'd be able to take on genin exam naruto? given just the abilities youve already given him the MC should be able to stomp just about everything outside of dragons and gods. Liked the story so far but you made a contextually op and near invincible character and you need to actually follow through on that instead of nerfing him into the ground.
.....that is a VEEY BAD chapter. First of why does ikarus even fear from becoming a criminal? If it REALLY was so easy to become one then half the population would be criminals because other half acused them. And EVEN then how the heck will the people believe the buthcer that a 12 year old managed to kill 2 adults? People KNOW that there is a saberttoth around, why when 2 people go missing they will asume that the kid killed them instead of beasts, bandits, Thiefs, etc? There was also no witnesses to the whole scene (that was the whole point of waiting to arrest ikarus outside the village instead of inside).
Now second of all. The fight was VERY BAD. You (author) already established that ikarus can break a wolf skull WITHOUT using chakra. Is the human body more durable than wolf skull? And even then in here daiki DID use chakra so yeah double trouble. Next we all know that shinobi ESPECIALLY warring age ones DO use swords like tantos, katans, o katane, etc. They have a whole art called kenjutsu dedicated to sword fighting. So saying that ikarus has zero knowledge about swords is like saying madara didn't use any weapons at all. ANOTHER problem here is that even if Gregor had skills he still lacks the strength to block or Parry ikarus sword strikes. It is like human trying to block a troll club. Even if he connect the sword with the club the troll would still feet him because of the while pressure force that was put in the swing which on contact becomes impact force. THEN there is the whole reflex and reaction thing. Gregor is a NORMAL human. Ikarus is someone that can run faster than a car and can still make turns. Even in the anime during wave mission naruto managed ti easily beat 2 samurais with no problem (and that is when he was still the dead last shinobi).
And finally third of all. You made a BIG mistake in your background knowledge. Ikarus is a ninja from the WARRING CLAN age. Meaning that while in naruto during peaceful times the graduation is on 12 years, during the warring time at 12 years clan people were already at MINIMUM in the chunin level. It was mentioned a few times in canon. It was also why during war the age was changed. Both sasuke and itachi graduated at 6 years while kakashi become chunin at 7 and itachi an anbu comandee at 13. So while ikarus IS a 12 year old kid who still has things to learn, he is NOT a peace time 12 year old genin like rookie 9. So don't use them as comparison for what ikarus is capable of at 12.
the chapter was good, the MC learns and will understand more about the injustices of that world, it could even be fun to read how the MC goes from town to town, city to city cleaning up the scum of that world but I feel that the MC should be more stronger than shown, although he is still a child remember that he was a shinobi, for example rock lee (13 years old) could lift tens of kilos (weights) and move as fast as a chunin.
