Wait? The mc is a woman? I was reading it in a man’s voice the whole chapter and was super confused when the girlfriend thing came up. Fir a moment i even thought the mc was a crossdresser.

I am rereading the first 2 chapters to refamiliarize myself with the story and I had thought we were having Reese narrate the story for some reason I never knew it was adelaine. So far I’m enjoying the read and I don’t mind the pacing I like good stories with character and plot development not just explosion explosion explosion. Good work jessi
