with how you've portrayed the MC so far this is beyond ridiculous. it would be fine if MC is such a careless short but he wasn't so this is just stupidly forced for the plot and as far as that horcurx work, it couldn't teleport itself nor could it entice anyone on its 'sleep' or standby state.
