Makes sense, i think the 3 gods we’re apart of another group of gods who were fishing in troubled waters, inciting a faction of the magi race to betray then later force a collision against the spider head on, to later swoop in when both parties are at their lowest (maybe not the spider but probably heavily injured). I also wonder if new gods that didn’t arrive with the fragmented face calls “Him” father or show reverence.

If that spider god was that strong, i don’t see how those 3 gods of the flame race could suppress it since it took 2 of them and spirit Emperor & Ruler Li to kill a mere crimson goddess… the fragmented face god may have interfered, i remember one God calling him father.
