You would think David and robin are in some sort of romantic relationship. why he is so scared. I get if they were back to normal friends but they are not hanging out or talking to each other for a year tf he's afraid to lose not like he's gonna go to jail or be banned for being a hero or barred for joining young justice. Technically as is the friendship is in a trial of already over.

It's the fear of rejection I would assume. It's a lot easier to reconnect with old friends you haven't spoken to, in comparison to old friends who hate you
