If he does end up leaving, maybe he does it in after meeting a celestial dragon. He pretends to be shocked about ttheir behaviour, tries to confront Garp and Sengoku about it and finally defects. At least it won't hurt as much and won't make him a real traitor. I just feel bad about Garp and Hina...

frankly i think the mc should try to take control of the navy and prevent akainu from being the chief admiral (so he can betray the world g*vernment at the most crucial moment)🤔

in mathematical terms if haki<HAKI and force<FORCE. would force+HAKI be more or less than FORCE+haki e.i if Enel hit gard with his max speed and his weak haki would it overwhelm garps stronger haki

I don't know how far you are on patreon chapters but I think the best movement to betray the marines would be at the war of the best, he could do it while saving ace and garp would be grateful to him and sengoku won't hate him either, I can't see any better time than that.
