I can see the gradual change happening with Nazneen which is nice to see. I think she is disheartened for not finding Ares there. My heart hurts for Ares. No more hope of meeting his parents. I hoped he would at least meet one of them 😔

Poor Ares. He couldn't even go to watch Nazneen fight or be with her afterwards. Maybe the witcher locked him up to help him control his thirst for blood. Or could it be just to hurt Nazneen? I am curious to find out. Maybe the witcher is who killed Ares dad and wants him too.

Ares’ situation is indeed sad and heart breaking. It can ’t be easy to have your hope obliterated in such a way. Esp ecially watching the people that he will not be able to see in this life again, through a mirror. Unless Jasmine has something to the contrary lined up. Naz fought like a woman scorned. Or perhaps like the queen she is. I do think Ares not being there gave her that gush of adrenaline she needed to finish busin ess.
