Jasmine, I'm starting to court the idea of selling my left kidney so I can bring this book to no1 and have that mass release, You Are THAT GOOD!! I'm in love and obsessed with it. I could hide somewhere and just read new chapters all day long. Thank you for this beautiful work and for all the extra chapters you've been releasing!
I just want to put this out for the author who warned us from the beginning that this would be dark and for those who might only see damage done from one side only. For us who got into this story we knew it would be enemies to lovers story and the author wants to portray it in a real way to show what hatred truly does to someone. We see the uncledad and how far he went. How Ares sacrificed himself. How Ravina doesn’t value her life much. Jazzy is going all the way with the portrayals. Why not with hatred between two people? They are not in a romantic relationship yet. They consider each other enemies. She could probably shoot him to death if she didn’t need him and he likewise if she wasn’t his mate. They are already killing each others kind. It would be unrealistic if after torturing him and him knowing she wants to use the breedmate bond against him he would be all nice. None of them are nice to the other and I think it is realistic given the situation. I think we often only see the physical abuse. I love Ravina. I am #teamRavina but she isn’t innocent here. She wants to use the bond against him which probably pains him as much. She knows her pain or death will also bring him pain and she knows he hates her kind so she rejoices in knowing she is his breedmate and how much that angers him. Did she stop her people or her uncle from torturing him? No. I am not blaming her. All I am saying is that they are both in this to hurt each other one way or another and while Ravina had a slight advantage were she feels she has nothing to lose, Malachi actually does. He could lose her and that will hurt him. Still #TeamRavina though and she killed it in this chapter.
Everything single scene we saw in this chapter is obviously understandable. The only thing I did not expect was Ravina's smart mouth. God! She cracked me up big time 😂😂 I think Malachi has a breedmate too good for him. Ravina doesn't feel the pain inflicted upon her in any way hence the bond doesn't register it as her hurting for him, which is why, I believe he hasn't done anything to protect her.
Well we knew this wouldn’t be like the fall into each other’s arms…. But I do wonder how it feels to him to allow his breedmate to be abused by his family. Of course his brother is worried that this human and their ultimate enemy will be their queen. Although Malachi has already observed and they will learn too that she is 100% Queen material. Except for the enemy part. 🥴 They will find there is no one quite like Ravina! Will he try to convince himself and his family that he will use her only to produce heirs and then discard her? It goes against all instincts but so does beinging his enemy home to the family. And she never harmed him physically. Ahhhh so much anticipation for this part of the story!
Considering Ravina wasn't terribly disturbed by Malachi being hurt and doing some hurting herself, I'm not surprised he can harden his heart for now to her being treated this way. What I find interesting is that the women were so alarmed of her bleeding. I wonder if they noticed that she didn't even realize how bad it was. And if they did, what they think of it.
The women didn't know what to think about Ravina bleeding all over their clothes and continuing to wash the clothes like she didn't know. She seems to always be in deep thought 🤔 and doesn't pay attention to her own pain. Her mind has been shattered in the past, but she stands her ground and doesn't want to show her pain. I don't think they can break her anymore than she has already been broken, unless it is to physically break her.
