The more I learn about Ravina, the more heartbroken I am for her. And now Ares too. They could have been so perfect together, but they have both made separate decisions and are Mission-focused. I suspect some day in the future, they will cross paths… and I hope them Ares will still be her ally, regardless of where her heart and loyalty lies at that time.
That felt heavy. Two people who could be so good together, and know how good they could be together, are chosing to be separate because they are so deeply committed to their chosen path they cannot see any other way forward 😞. There were some moments when I thought Ares could and would bring Ravina out of her pain and help her learn to feel joy and live fully and still focus on accomplishing her mission. This has become so much sadder and darker. And she still has to figure out how to spin things with Malachi. I guess that is the binding she plans to do….
Now she is going to test how protective Malachi is. I wonder how she will test that theory 🤔. I think she is going to have to tell him the wedding is off first before he will soften his heart any. I feel bad for Ares. I wonder if part of why his feelings were growing for Ravina is because of them using Malachi's blood. Could there be a connection because of the blood? If Ares helps Malachi escape, will Malachi really kill him knowing it would hurt his breedmate?
Jaz this story is so different than the other 2 books I’v read. aLthough I loved them both, this book. Has so a different story that is so intreging and just shows what a versitslle writer. In the beginning I didn’ t know how I felt about this book but now I 💕 the plots, the twists and the suspense of it all. Excellent!!🥰 I also gifted each chapter! You deserve it!!🤩
A risky plan from Ravina,but eventually Ares will agree (I think). I don't want Ravina,Ares and Malachi, to get hurt in the process ( by heart,I mean) but seemed like they will have it,they'd all be broken🥺💔 why does the word 'dragon tamer ' kept ringing on Ares' head? the effect of the experiment on him? the effect of reading Ravina's notes? could he have heard it from Ravina's father? tack Jazzy😊
I think she will also need Ares help with testing his protectiveness. I Have some theories about how this might go down.. Perhaps telling him it’s an arranged marriage and he’s been trying to force himself on her.. or she could use her family (cousin probably) and share how spiteful, vindictive and mean he is towards her.. I’d go with that one to try and spare Ares since he’s a good man.
