I am loving that we have these characters that we feel so torn about. Gives me anxiety but it is good writing. For now things don’t look good for Malachi. With Ravina’s trauma that she is relieving now after what happened and the black dragons being the ones who killed her parents and also the info she found about Malachi being one of the terrorizers, things look really bad. There is so much bad history between our lead but I know if someone can pull it off and bring them together it is you, jasmine. This will only make their union much more sweeter but I fear what will happen in between. As for Ares, I am not among the ones wishing for our female lead to be restricted to one. She can go ahead and explore. We know who she will end up with anyway. Also, I really felt bad for her and she needed that comfort she found in Ares. I am glad he didn't take advantage of her as he often is very bold, but I think his heart is changing as well. The way he said "I don't know" I think he is beginning to genuinely care for her. You want to break our hearts jasmine? 😩 Thank you for the bonus😍😘. Enjoying this story so much. Can't even guess what is going to happen next
I really like Ares as a partner for her. If it weren't for whatever pesky secret that may in fact reveal him to be a villain at some point, he's perfect for her. Malachi might be considered hot and her breedmate, but at the moment he's murderous at worst and likely to be abusive (psychologically) at best, at least until whatever twist is revealed that presumably will reveal he's not quite the villain we think he is. I like Ares because he's no saint, but he respects and values her abilities and opinions, and doesn't seek to restrict her. I'm sure we'll get more character development for Malachi soon, but I'm a bit fed up (from other stories, not from Jasmine's work, Jasmine writes the best stuff!) of unstable and psychologically manipulative male leads who are held up as paragons of "ideal partner". In terms of this story, I'm Team Ares all the way! *waves Ares flag*
Now now, this side of Ares that gave off a real feel good charm😍💕 There was honesty in there (maintaining the mysterious side of him still) The secret to his youth, I thought we were gonna get that this early🤭 I find him real genuine in this chapter.❤️ I think Ravina is touched as well of that care and comfort he gave. Second male lead syndrome is on😅 thanks for the chap, Jazzy!😊
thank you for the extra chapter, Jasmine ! you are so very talented. I'm one of those anxious to see her with Malachi (or see more of their interactions) but I have to admit I really enjoyed this chapter with her and Ares . the more they interact the harder it is to dislike Ares. I don't know what you have in store for us but at this point it feels like both her and Ares are changing and growing. I personally hope he'll be more of a friend for her (with benefits if necessary). But i hope neither one of them will get their hearts broken.
I love love LOVE this scene. At this moment Ares really is the perfect partner for Ravina. She can be open and free with her words, they clearly share both interests and an attraction to each other. She has some big growing to do and he seems ready to help her, from basic self care like eating and not hurting herself, to allowing herself to feel joy and be fully alive. It says a lot that she let herself break down with him. BUT - I also get where she is in her head. It is HARD to trust someone who she knows is keeping a huge secret and purposely keeping it from her.
Jasmine, your storytelling has always been exceptional. You are giving us, your readers, the best that you’ve got. Jasmine, you take your readers into higher heights and deeper depths with each new chapter that is released. I am pleased things did not get out of hand with Ravina and Steele in the bedroom. I think Ravina is being a little bold with Steele because she believes she is Malachi’s breedmate and she sees him as her enemy. I believe her move toward Steele was a conscious act of rebellion against Malachi even though they do not have an established relationship. Already, Malachi becomes enraged at the thought of other males looking at Ravina in a certain kind of way.
Ares was just what she needed at that moment. And while I’ll continue to be skeptical since I know she doesn’t end up with him and because I’m bothered by his secret with her uncle, I still like him for her needs now. I’m not bothered by her marrying him and later ending up with Malachi. I just wonder what will happen along the way and look forward to learning more!
Looking at the two men potentials from afar, king Malachi suites Ravina more. Although Ares is a nice guy but there's just this something I perceived in Ravina that only Malachi can fix and same goes to King Malachi too. Those two (Ravina est Malachi)has a lot in common, their experiences,their hatred for each other s' kind? Their ignored strong attraction? That is what I call compatibility. Ravina is more compatible with Malachi. Ares can make her happy but not complete her. And that isn't because he ain't good to Ravina but because there's something more she wanted that even she hasn't realize it yet. I still wonder on whose side Ravinas' uncle is. The humans or the dark dragons? And where could her twin sister be? Is she really alive or being a breedmate for real? The suspense is what makes this interesting
