I love this interaction but it leaves me with so many questions!! It borders on playful banter with thick underlying threats that give me shivers! Our princess is such a great character already. I love the scientist side of her. When she first appeared, looking out the castle window, I didnât have any particular expectation, just that I knew I wouldnât be disappointed. Trust the author. She has so much personality already! Thank you!! đ Iâll be watching for more. đ
Well, I know nothing of course but I did mention last chapter that, enemies as they are, he must know who she is and that she had a twin sister who went missing. You cannot call yourself a king and not know anything about the enemies who ârebelledâ against you and hunt you down...Malachi may be beastly, but the man seems smart so far. Just because he looked at her it doesnât necessarily mean he recognized her. He played her like a fiddle with the breeding and her sister, a provocation for which she fell, ignoring all the other things that he said (while SOME dragons may choose to do it out of revenge, the dragonsâ mates are honoured and respected, two different ideas there) ... As for what he said about her sister... he has a point and it is something I commented on last chapter as well... if she is with them, in love with a dragon or not, if she has a child, that puts her in an impossible place. The dragons would not let her go and she probably wouldnât go herself, putting her child at risk. Her child would not only be in danger for being a half dragon but for possibly having a claim to the throne... Anyway, we shall read on in the hopes to know more. For the time being, despite all the hatred, he makes me laugh and that is good start đđ Ps: I have casted my stones but there isnât an option for golden ticket just yet.
These two no how to get under each otherâs skin. I think when she finally finds her sister sheâll be surprised she is fine and happy where she is. I could picture Corinna being okay with a mate, and that like Malachi said she might not have reached out because she either is with child or has one already. Meanwhile Malachi and Ravina seem perfectly matched in this twisted scenario. They see through each other.
Most of my power stones are placed here and my gold ticket I placed on Heart of Darkness. I am loving your books. With all that said, I am loving how Malachi and Ravina banter back and forth. I wonder if he was surprised that she hasn't tortured anyone or if he already knew she hadn't. I am sure that he is just feeling her out and trying to break her down the same way she is with him. I get the feeling that he came there mostly for her because he wouldn't even talk to them until she came to see him.
I love a good quarrel initially and theirs has really been amusing! I think the harder they fight now, the harder they will fall for one another later. Iâm digging that sheâs considered a âcold-hearted princessâ and as some one else already said, itâs a great change from it usually being the ML. I like that both characters seem witty and cunning. They arenât even in a relationship yet but can push one anotherâs buttons so well. Together they are definitely going to set their world on fire and turn it upside down! Iâm also enjoying getting more details on the different dragon clans and would love more details on how they look in dragon form. Very curious if different clans have different unique abilities to them. Keep up the great work Jaz!
I canât wait for more interaction with these two. Clearly Malachi came here / let him get caught and has an agenda. I think the agenda would be to get information from the inside and plan a path to take over the castle and kingdom. But I look forward to the conflict and confusion that will come from more time together.
