Comments of chapter undefined of The Villain's Story

Author, isn't Alan going to cultivate again? Is he really going to let everyone else get to C-rank to go back to cultivating? He even reinforced that he needs to get stronger for various reasons, yet so far he hasn't returned to cultivating. He says he doesn't want to attract attention, yet he is in the best place for him to cultivate without restrictions. He even commented on the protection he receives at the academy, so why not use that protection to grow as much as he can so that when he leaves he can fend for himself? He is totally wasting the advantage he has over other people which is being able to recover his mana, which allows him to continue cultivating continuously. Seems like the only reason he stopped cultivating is just for Elijah to become stronger than him, this is pretty frustrating, as if the system wasn't broken enough already, Alan still has to sabotage himself for the guy overtake him. so agri can heal Elijah anytime but for some reason suleras and lanesha weren't able to heal alan and had to give out a quest to Sabrina? yeah it doesn't make sense! what's up with this double standard ?
