Ok, so, 2 things couldve happend in my opinion either rui is an heir and things happend the easy way or the mind-sage made everyone see rui as an heir via hipnosis and the emperors going to make him a stand in 🙏 i just feel like its too easy to end it this way

While I am usually not a big fan of kingdom building novels, the quality of the story thus far has been excelent so lets see how this unfolds. the day to day buisiness of the Empire certainly doesnt need that much input from Rui especially since he intents to continue the balanced course of the emperor. moreover as emperor he will have no problem getting that alien thing which name escapes me rn. so lets see how everything onfolds.

it will not stop his martial path. he will change kandria into a partial democratie. with still the emperor as the final decider if they can not get to an agreement. he can still influence the country if needed but most of the time he is free to do what he wants.

I really hope Rui doesn't become the Emperor cause it'll do nothing but stop his Martial Path. No Emperor is going to be able to run around and fight, he'll be guarded 24/7 and will barley have the time to discover new Martial Arts.

I'd like to see him use the blackmailed royals in their respective fields to serve kandria so he can delegate his burdens to train is he is to be emperor.

I just realized. Rui can be emperor literally anytime he wants to. He bas blackmail material for the four. He is martial unions golden boy as well. I really hope he cant pull out of the emperor position unless the author can justify it perfectly that it can negate the emperors plan from ruis birth. I really wonder what rui is thinking right now.

somehow at this point I feel that being emperor might improve rui chances in becoming emperor as he might have enough duty and responsibilities to maintain harmony and to improve his thought and fill his martial mind, what's the odds?

I hope he is genuinely the son, and that Lord Streak is not setting up for a big Syke!

the way I see it rui will become emperor BUT will try to find a balance between the different ambitions of his half siblings maybe even establish them as Kings and Queens under him while he has oversight and final say of things
