I can't believe he has plans for not 5 or 10, but 50 years down the line, that's insane. honestly, he should let the sea princess win but use this to force her to either spread he ambitious over a longer period of time or cut back what she wants done by about 75%

I think that's the way this is going. I think he should show the recording to his allies in the Martial union and then convince them to call a meeting with the most powerful members of each of the prime candidates factions and strong arm them into backing a neutral candidate that will preserve the status quo and do not much else by threatening to throw their film support behind the martial prince of the don't.
