After being given information about how the virodabasa or whatever it’s name is faith believes that their god is the incarnation of martial art, it does give a better understanding about how Rui impact others. Assuming that Rui is the “god of martial art” and that there isn’t somebody else that will show up that says “You’re not the guy, pal. I’m the guy, the real guy” (I hope somebody gets that reference) it makes sense how he can make or break someone’s martial art. In terms of breaking, well, if “He” has given an individual their martial path, why can’t he easily understand and disassemble it? In terms of creating, it isn’t really creating. It’s more like helping them “discover” their martial path/art and helping them improvement. Again, if he built it and knows the schematics, why can’t he upgrade the plans? It makes a whole lot of sense and I hope Rui does turn out to be “The Guy”.
