My thought? Babies can't see that well. They can see as far as the face from the breast they are nursing on. By about 4 months, they can see further as the light stimulates the connection of the eyes to their brain. Ain't no way he can see doctors out the window and the lights are just blurry light areas if anything. Having a developed soul doesn't change the biology. I guess most people don't know this? I have never read a reincarnation/transmigration at birth novel get it right.
A few babies have good vision on large objects and a very acute sense of hearing. Within 2 hours as the fluid has predominantly dried off the olfactory senses again a small percentage have an acute sense of smells.
