Comments of chapter undefined of Stone Mage: Revenge of the Villain System

am I bad for wanting the mc to feel despair for few chapters to at least lower his stupidity

i would like for him to feel at least a little upset by his brother's death, but I understand that he doesn't get athached easily so it doesn't bother me too much. As the trial, i guess he will pass by blinding his enemies and do hit and run tactics, or using the new runes rhat he discovered, including that one that absorbed the lightning.
