Comments of chapter undefined of My Ten Wives and Ten Rings in the Apocalypse

I like the story, but I’m still confused by the MC’s change in personality. I suppose you could say the life or death situation at the beginning brought about this change in character and personality. But to be honest I don’t really see it. He was a bumbling fool at first. I mean, the guy was hyperventilating over meeting the dean of the school. Now he is the physical embodiment of stoicism. It doesn’t make any sense. I’ll still be reading however as the plot is interesting.
