Why is he doing this again? It's been so long, and I've probably forgotten a plot point. Did the author ever give a reason why Madara went from patient manipulator to a rash idiot? Obito declared war... Madara spent his entire elder years scheming. Why is Madara acting like Obito? He literally could've just waited until Kurama's transfer and took the nine tails without trouble. Combined that with something simple like using Zatsus to carry paper bombs into the village, and you have a hostage situation that can easily secure him the beast. It'd basically be what Obito did with Naruto during his birth. Why is he explaining his whole plan to Mito...?
Obito had an identity crisis. Within that, he believed others would agree with his perspective when prompted, even if they didn't acknowledge it. It's why he kept prompting mini him, Naruto; he believed his POV was the truth. There was no functional reason outside of that. Kishimoto presented the reason as 'Obito didn't know where the two were', but that's nonsense. He could've just waited until they left the island. He was under no pressure to rush the plan. His Kamui was that broken of an ability where he could've blitzed the village, Kamui them away, and escaped in under Kamui's five minute time frame. Obito didn't even need them. He could've kept the plan to himself, used the edo tensei nine tails from the Kinkaku Brothers + bee's tail, and summoned the ten tails in a remote location without anyone's knowledge. To reiterate, why did Obito do it? To address his unresolved emotional issues.
Kingkillerdj2023:Firstly, lets not compare the two timelines in any form. You have Tsunade, Tobirama, and Mito, all whom likely know he is alive now thanks to Tobirama's survival, and they are gradually making preparations for him. How is he expected to steal the Biju from Mito, someone with Uzumaki-level vitality and are hypothesized to live for at least a century while also now being a perfect Jinchuriki and being the best Fuinjutsu user in the world right now, all while Tsunade is present in the Village. I'm not saying Madara is fear Secondly, Madara was is extremely arrogant and prideful, to a heightened degree. Why wouldn't he actively declare war? Better yet, I pose you a question in response, why did Obito reveal himself and the Eye of The Moon plan to the Five Kage? Especially with the fact that he could have continued waiting until their guard was down to make a move? But, even with all of that, I still wouldn't view Madara as a 'Rash Idiot'. But hey, I like comments like this, they keep me entertained.
