I'd have Liked it a bit better if more time had been spent establishing to Vernon that Dorothea Can be trusted enough for him to be handing her the wellbeing of four little boys. Like, Maybe an instance Where Chloe needed to run an errand and Mackie asked to stay with her grandma. Vernon hearing about this later, freaking out then interrogating Mackie about What happened when she was alone with her. Only to find out they made Cookies, Collages & Watched Spongebob. As it is I hope he checks in with the Kids from time to time.
