i don't think she can be of any help... she is mixing her personal and professional life together... being a psychiatrist she should know about people first and then make any judgement about them but she just listens to things about Chloe from Dorothea and already started hating her and misleading Vernon too about Chloe that she's manipulating him and all... she's a very unprofessional psychiatrist in my pov.. and maybe she's treating Dorothea just to get things from her so she can use it in her favour to get Vernon...

I'm torn on whether or not Dorothea should see Shailene... on the one hand my oppinion of her is in the gutter after how she behaved with Vincent, but I kinda wanna see what Shailene would say to all of these revelations Dorothea has had. And I'm curious how set Shailene is on hating Chloe. Would she see how wrong she's been, or would she try to twist Dorothea to her way of thinking. One thing though, Dorothea feeling like the therapy isn't working doesn't necessarily mean it's not working. Because from what I've understood, especially a case of such extreme emotional & physical trauma and past (?) substance abuse will not be a straight forward journey from bad to better.
